Build your own handplane from the same quality materials our boards are made from.

We provide you with an 8 ½” x 16” blank made from sustainable Paulownia wood with a Spanish Cedar stringer, 2 built-in walnut strap plugs, adjustable velcro hand strap and an upcycled wetsuit strap cover.

Get creative with a shape of your own or use one of our standard templates to create your personalized, one of a kind alternative surfcraft.

Use of our tools, a spot at our shaping table and guidance of basic design, shaping and hand tool techniques are included. All experience levels welcome.
